One Dance by DRAKE FT WIZKID & KYLA was this year's top hit song for 2016 followed by Lucas Graham with 7 years. Coming in close at number 7 was The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey with Closer. "The song of the summer" beat out Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" for this top spot, setting him back at 8, 16, and 35. (Sad)

Here is a quick analysis of this year's number 7 song:

Hey, I was doing just fine before I met you
I drink too much and that's an issue but I'm okay

•Really? Because you're a frat boy who drinks natty lite at 10am

Hey, you tell your friends it was nice to meet them
But I hope I never see them again

•But really see you at our mixer next Friday #SigmaApplePie

I know it breaks your heart
Moved to the city in a broke down car

•So how'd you get here then?

And four years, no calls
Now you're looking pretty in a hotel bar

•How did you find her in a hotel bar???? You can see her?

And I can't stop
No, I can't stop

•You can't stop what?

So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover

•So we went from a broke down car to a Range Rover? What did you major in?

That I know you can't afford
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder

•I thought this line was "LIKE that tattoo on your shoulder"

Pull the sheets right off the corner
Of the mattress that you stole

•You have a Range Rover and yet you stole a mattress? Also, why do the sheets need to be pulled off, you stole this mattress?

From your roommate back in Boulder

•So where are we now?

We ain't ever getting older

•Thats a lie.

We ain't ever getting older
We ain't ever getting older

•Thats a lie too.

You look as good as the day I met you
I forget just why I left you, I was insane

•Obviously, it wasn't that important or you would've remembered.

**This is why we shouldn't argue ladies**

Stay and play that Blink-182 song
That we beat to death in Tuscon, okay

•What song? And what were you doing in Tuscon because I thought we were in Buffalo?

I know it breaks your heart
Moved to the city in a broke down car
And four years, no call

•Has it really been four years?

Now I'm looking pretty in a hotel bar

• #GlowUp

And I can't stop

•Because your car is broke down

No, I can't stop

•You need new brakes

So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover

•These are nice leather seats please don't make a mess

That I know you can't afford
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder

•Might not taste the best

Pull the sheets right off the corner
Of the mattress that you stole
From your roommate back in Boulder

•Poor roommate, I hope you're reading this
We ain't ever getting older

We ain't ever getting older
We ain't ever getting older

•You got that Benjamin Button

So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover
That I know you can't afford
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder
Pull the sheets right off the corner
Of the mattress that you stole
From your roommate back in Boulder

We ain't ever getting older
We ain't ever getting older (we ain't ever getting older)
We ain't ever getting older (we ain't ever getting older)
We ain't ever getting older (we ain't ever getting older)
We ain't ever getting older

YES YOU ARE. YOU'VE GOTTEN OLDER SINCE THIS SONG CAME OUT.

We ain't ever getting older
No, we ain't ever getting older

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
