Click For A Change
Change.org

Can you change the world with the click of a mouse? Yes, yes you can.

Change.org is the name. It is a website, a powerful tool used by people from every single corner of the world to promote or support just about any cause. How the process works is incredibly simple. However, the impact that it has goes far beyond any simplicity.

This website is a way to help a change take place, to contribute to the world, which sometimes is a hard thing to do. How you stand up to what is fair is just by clicking "sign" and sharing. How much easier can it get? One signature at a time and big things can happen, and yours can be the decisive one.

There are about too-many-to-count petitions going on as you are reading this. The topics range from Animal Rights to Human Trafficking to Criminal justice, etc. There is a topic that will surely attract your attention and make you want to contribute to be part of that cause and make a change.

That is what it is all about: Change. Making your voice count and fight for what is right. When the system fails the people or when the voiceless animals are getting abused, when discrimination is taking place, it is up to you to make justice prevail. If nobody does, then who will?

As the website opens, the trending petitions will show, as well as the possibility to start a petition. There are also some victory cases, such as one of two unjustly imprisoned US citizens arrested in Kuwait, released after the petition reached 172,447 supporters. Here, it is to see that change can happen, only it has to be made.

Take a look at the petition, click on the "read more" link and inform yourself about what is happening in the petition. Sign it if you feel that there is a change that needs to happen. No matter how many signatures there are, your's counts more than you can even imagine. Do not stop there. You have the option of sharing it with your friends and acquaintances through social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Then share!

Help make your community, country, and the world a better and fair place to live. Many things need fixing around us, things that are not right and have to have a modification. Change.org is indeed the best place to start.

Join the 147,758,959 people that are already making their voices count. You do not need to go anywhere or to take anything out of your wallet. All that is required is a heart and a sense of righteousness, and the simple click of a mouse. After all, Change.org helps no one else but ourselves because, yes, we are part of the same world.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
