Music is something everyone can turn to. Whether you’re happy, sad, or feeling nostalgic, there’s always at least one song that each person puts on and listens to.
My own music taste is pretty versatile. I enjoy songs from a variety of genres, but if there’s one genre that’s stuck with me for most of my life, it’s classic rock. A genre that spans from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, classic rock music dominated my childhood. I grew up listening to it with my parents, both at home and on road trips, and now as an adult, I find myself listening to it from time to time. There’s a number of specific songs that I turn to pretty frequently. Some are probably familiar, others may not be. Either way, they’re all worth listening to! Here are just a few songs that I enjoy.
1. “Just What I Needed” by The Cars.
2. “Come Sail Away” by Styx.
