Classes UK Should Offer

Ever wonder what type of classes you should take as an elective, but can't seem to find anything fun or helpful?

Well here is a list of the top 5 classes the University of Kentucky should offer its students!

Eating Right 101

In this class, you would learn how to buy, prepare and make meals that are healthy for you. This is a hands on class where people would learn through implementation instead of a textbook. This class would not be for culinary students, but for everyone in general.

Budgeting 100

This class would teach students how to budget their money and or time without their parents help. It would be a class that could help those about to graduate learn how to be respectable adults on their own.

Puppy Training 101

This would be a class that taught students responsibility through taking care of pets. It could be connected to a animal shelter that gave dogs the opportunity to socialize with other individuals.

Marketing U! 101

This class would teach you not only how to network and prepare for a job, but how to present yourself in society. There are so many people who don't realize that how they present themselves to others can be seen negatively. It would teach you about mindful social media posting to professional dressing.

Parking 100

This class would teach students how to park on campus without receiving a parking ticket. For those who have received one, when they didn't deserve it, they would learn how to properly fight the ticket and win!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
