So you have the ideal schedule, right? All of your classes are exactly where you wanted them to be, and you have a nice long three hour break in between classes. No big deal - until you actually have those three-hour breaks and absolutely nothing to do during them.

It's easy to get demotivated during a break as long as that, especially if you leave campus. It'll make going to your next class seem as difficult as climbing Mt. Everest.

That doesn't mean you can't leave campus - but if you do, you'll want to keep yourself moving in a way that you won't seriously hate going to your next class. Here are some ideas of what you could do to pass the time.

1. Do your homework

Blah, I know right? But this could help you stay on top of all your assignments and leave extra time for you at the end of the day, so you don't have to worry about it then. This will leave time for doing fun stuff with your friends or even catching up on sleep.

2. Go grocery shopping

Even though you'd be leaving campus, you're still doing something that requires you to think and keep yourself moving and organized. I'm a weirdo, and I love going grocery shopping. It means less eating out, and you save a good bit of money. We're in college; we all need the money.

3. Work out!

This is by far my favorite thing to do on my obnoxiously long break, but that's because I'm sort of obsessed with it. For those of you who aren't obsessed with it, it's a great thing to do because it gets endorphins flowing and adrenaline pumping, while it wakes you up so you'll be ready and focused for your next class.

4. Read

Read a book, magazine, e-book, assigned reading from class, anything! Reading helps make the time fly by, and you're not doing your traditional social media surfing. This could help you get ahead in class or just allow your brain to go on a nice adventure depending on the reading material you choose.

5. Clean your room

I know, I know, this isn't the most ideal thing for anyone to want to do. Again, I'm weird and actually enjoy cleaning, but if you can get your space organized, you have better chance of organizing your mind and getting yourself prepared for class.

6.  Go shopping!

This can be for anything, clothes, shoes, accessories, absolutely anything. Shopping is a great way to enjoy an obnoxious break, and you'll be able to have some quality time with retail therapy. Plus, you'll end up with some fun new things by the end of your trip.

7. Eat

Yes, I realize this is pretty far down on the list, and that's not purposely. You could go grab lunch with friends that you haven't had the chance to spend a lot of time with because of your crazy schedules. This allows for you to nourish yourself while getting to be in great company.

8. Call home

Say hi to your parents, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, grandparents, anyone who is at home that you don't get to talk to regularly. Chances are they're missing you as much as you're missing them, and a quick phone call is nothing when you have such a long break ahead of you.

This list is obviously not an exhausted list of all the things you can do while you have this long break between classes, but it's something to get you started. Happy breaking!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
