Is it walking diabetes? No! Is it a twinkie? No! It's New Jersey's governor Chris Christie! Governor Christie time and time again has let his personal interests outweigh his responsibilities to New Jersey. From Bridgegate to endorsing a bigot for president, here is a list of Christie's major screw-ups.
1. Vetoed Atlantic City's Rehabilitation Funds
Yup! You read that correctly. Chris Christie is refusing to help get AC back on its feet. It just so happens that he is endorsing the man who helped destroy the city, Donald Trump. Why? Christie states that South Jersey policymakers are wasting tax payer's money, and the only way Christie feels that AC will get better is with a state takeover. In this takeover would hurt police and fire unions in the city. Does Christie care? Not one bit.
2. "Do you want me to go down there with a mop?"
This was Christie's response to Blizzard Jonas. Not only was he out of the state campaigning when Jersey was prepping for the storm he really only came back for a few days and left to continue what was then his presidential campaign. He pretty much just got up and left, to continue his campaigning. We all know his presidential campaign has gone so well.
3. Chris Christie's Attitude Towards Educators
Just when you think the man can't get any worse, he does! Chris Christie must've had something happen in his schooling process that made him hate all educators. The way he treats and demeans these hard working people is somewhat baffling. He's suggested that teachers should be paid minimum wage and that teachers unions deserve a punch in the face. He even once placed teachers on par with drug dealers for giving students budget information. Christie, I'm sorry for whatever happened in your childhood classroom, but it's time to get over it.
4. Bridgegate
5. Missing 3/4 of the Year in 2015
Chris Christie is one of the worst things to happen to New Jersey. He doesn't care about anyone other than himself, only seeking to further his political career. He is on his way to being the 2nd worst governor in all America. (I say second because the governor of Michigan positioned women and children with lead, but I digress.) Maybe Christie should retire from politics and do what he does best, eat. Who knows, maybe he'll find his greatest success in competitive eating.
