Over the years, cartoons have changed drastically. Some have become serious while others have become completely random. Although they have changed, it's great to look back and re-watch some of the cartoons Millennials grew up on. So, here is a short list on the top five childhood cartoons you can find on Netflix.

1. "The Powerpuff Girls"

"The Powerpuff Girls" was a popular animated series that was created by Craig McCarken and was first aired in 1998 on Cartoon Network.

The plot is about three little girls who were created by Professor Utonium. Originally the Professor wanted to create three normal little girls, however, he accidentally added a chemical known as "Chemical X." This accident resulted in the girls having super-powers. So, the three girls, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, began to use their powers to fight crime within their hometown, The City of Townsville.

This cartoon is a great show to watch on a Sunday morning while enjoying a bowl of cereal and can be found on Netflix. It is highly recommended and sits as number one on this list.

2. "Courage the Cowardly Dog"

"Courage the Cowardly Dog" is an animated horror comedy that was created by John R. Dilworth and originally aired in 1999 on Cartoon Network.

The show is about a pink beagle who lives with an old married couple in the middle of nowhere. Courage and his family constantly find themselves in bizarre situations, which result in Courage having to face his fears and save his family.

Each episode contains a new and bizarre villain and at times can be very creepy. However, the show is entertaining and can be found on Netflix.

3. "Pokémon: Indigo League"

"Pokémon: Indigo League" is the first season of the Japanese animated TV series, "Pokémon: The Original Series." The show first aired in Japan on April 1, 1997 and was later aired in the United States on September 8, 1998.

Based off of Game Freak's video game, "Pokémon," the show begins by introducing a first time Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town known as Ash Ketchum. At ten-years-old, Ash begins his journey to catch all 150 Pokémon and become the greatest Pokémon trainer in the world. With his friends Brock, Misty and his Pokémon Pikachu, together they travel the world to capture Pokémon and defeat other Pokémon trainers.

"Pokémon: Indigo League" is a great show to watch, especially if you wish to learn about Pokémon. It can be found on Netflix, along with later versions of the show.

4. "The Batman"

"The Batman" is an animated tv show based off of DC's hero, Batman. The show first aired on September 11, 2004 on the WB. Although the show did follow many elements of previous Batman storylines, it does not follow the flow of previous comic books and other animated series.

"The Batman" is about how the young and rich Bruce Wayne constantly attempts to better himself as Gotham's hero, Batman. Constantly saving lives and fighting villains, Batman deals with the pressure of hiding his identity and stop evil.

If you are a huge fan of Batman this show can be a bit agitating, due to the fact that some things do not follow the comics. However, some can find it very entertaining and can fulfill the inner child within you.

5. "Yu-Gi-Oh!"

"Yu-Gi-Oh!" is a Japanese anime that first aired on April 4, 1998 in Japan. The show later was Americanized and aired on September 29, 2001 in the Untied States. The American version can be found on Netflix and does have some differences in comparison to the Japanese version.

"Yu-Gi-Oh!" is about a shy young man named Yugi Mutou who is unaware that a puzzle, known as the Thousand-Year puzzle, unleashes an alter ego of himself who challenges anyone that hurts Yugi within a game of Yu-Gi-Oh. Although the game does not seem like much, Yugi soon learns that loosing comes at a large price, his grandfather's life. Determined to save his grandfather, Yugi and his friends set off to an island dedicated to Yu-Gi-Oh to save his grandfather and learn the secretes of the game.

These are just a few shows that you can find on Netflix and that I highly recommend. These shows share a special place in my heart and I'm sure you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
