It gets hard out here for a girl who cant afford five Cartier bracelets on. I have taught myself the tricks of the trade to absolutely stay ahead in the fashion world all while saving a penny or two. Here's five ways to get a head of the price tag your gonna wanna know this Fall:

Tip One: Always Number One-Thrift Shopping

Hit up your local thrift store and buy high waisted shorts, skirts and every heavy metal band tee you see. Go home and grab a pair of scissors and get to work. Because that sixty dollar t-shirt your friend just paid for, is old school. Slice into it, the more holes the better. If your trying to get wild, throw a little bit of bleach on it. The possibilities are endless.

Mainly with the Allman Brothers,

carrying on,

Tip Two: eBay & Amazon, This is not a drill.

Okay, this seems sketchy right. Well listen, its the twentieth century it's cool to pay a dollar to make it yourself than spend thirty dollars on the same choker. Really, I'm crying for you. Chokers are the easiest thing to replicate people, please do not pay full price for a velvet choker when they are five dollars on amazon! AND YOU GET TWO. Even eBay has yards of leather you can easily cut and braid into your very own choker.

You wanted hippie.

Tip Three: CVS cosmetics

However, if your like me and cannot afford the Kylie Jenner lip kit this season, here is a little tool I've been taught and its called the NYC lip stain. This is the Kendall to the Kylie Lipkit can we say twinning? The stain lasts so long it blows my mind and the colors are absolutely everything you've ever wanted. Any time of the night.

Tip Four: Plato's Freaking Closet

I'm not the only one right? Come on now, that's money. But what if I were to tell you it works in two ways.Get this, You can actually save money by staying and digging through all the mountains of clothes. Finding that diamond in the ruff. Well you may think, who has time for that? My advice, hit the romper section along with the casuals. Multiple times I have found the perfect romper every time i just stopped and looked. A quick scan is the best idea. Not to mention, if your into dressing casual cute to class check out some of their workout gear. Deal of the year.

Twelve dollars for Nike leggings.

Wut.

Tip Five: Snag Your Grandmas jewelry

Ask first, jeez. The rings I rock absolutely everyday are in fact my grandmothers and yes you could not believe how many people ask me where I got them.Vintage is the new black. So break those bad puppies out its time for a revival.

(The more turquoise the better)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
