In small-town Chatham, New Jersey, there are endless small, family-owned businesses that thrive off of face-to-face interaction. The current global health crisis has left many businesses such as these gasping for air, and our local businesses need us now more than ever. Here are 9 Chatham businesses that you should throw a lifeline to.

1. Twin Elephant Brewing Company

Twin Elephant is a microbrewery dreamed up by three partners that started in a garage. During the coronavirus crisis, Twin Elephant is offering online beer orders so you don't have to miss out on your favorite brews. More information can be found here. Order pickup is scheduled so as to minimize interaction.

2. Chatham Sandwich Shop

Chatham Sandwich Shop is a Chatham staple. It has been in business for over 30 years, and your sandwich is always served with a smile. Dine-in service is closed, but Chatham Sandwich is offering Curbside pickup for food orders, as well as safe food delivery. Additionally, they are providing the option to add a "Frontliner lunch" to your food order. This allows you to include an extra lunch in your order, and that lunch will be delivered to a frontline worker during the next hospital food delivery. 3. Sorriso Kitchen

Located on Main Street across the way from the Chatham Sandwich Shop, Sorriso Kitchen is a family owned, relatively new eatery. It closes on Mondays to serve as a teaching space for special needs students from a local school- further proving the good nature of its owners. 4. Chatham Scoops

Chatham Scoops is located on Main Street, and it is a family-owned creamery that opened in late 2019. Scoops is offering delivery services during the crisis, including the option to order a sundae kit. 5. Cafe Villa

Cafe Villa is a local pizzeria and a beloved one at that. It is family-owned and has been open for business for over 25 years, and it offers homemade sauce and dough with fresh pizzas made daily. Villa is offering food takeout and delivery during the pandemic, and you can learn more here.

Arminio's is another beloved pizzeria in Chatham, and this is a photo of a huge food delivery for staff at Morristown Memorial Hospital. 7. Charley's Aunt
