No one actually enjoys going to the library, but we've all force ourselves to sit in that miserable building at some point in our college careers. Looking around on any given day, you will notice the different types of people who frequent the lib. Here are nine types of people I have come across in my library experiences.
1. The Online Shoppers
Oh, you. I appreciate the dedication to your image, everyone needs new swag every now and then, but just mix in some work to keep everyone else sane.
2. The Netflix Watchers
This one I'll allow -- maybe a quick show in between classes -- but if you're watching a movie, walk to your room even through the tundra, I promise you can do it.
3. The Cellphone Addicts
I'm talking to you Caitlin Hullinger. These people usually have plans to get mad work done, but unfortunately are too glued to their phones to transport back to reality.
4. The Adderall Snorters
Yeah, we see you in the stacks snorting that good stuff. Carry on being a psycho, I hope you're able to write that lab in under an hour.
5. The Lovebirds
Babababarf. Kidding, you're cuties. I respect that you're both getting studious instead of getting it on. However, if you start sucking face, that respect will be gone.
6. The Stressed Out Orgo Students
Stay away. You guys are rockstars for taking the Orgo challenge, but your stress is literally radiating from your bodies and I don't need that negative energy in my life.
7. The Desktop Users
Completely understandable if you don't own a laptop, but why are you choosing to sit on an uncomfortable chair for all to see when you have your own? You confuse me.
8. The 5 Course Meal Folks
I love when people come in hot carrying in their Neuro energy drink, to-go burrito, chips and candy. Perhaps they have no time to eat in Reamer... or books are the preferred company.
9. The Chain Smokers
You may not notice them too much, but once finals week comes around you'll see clouds of nicotine blocking Schaffer's entrance.
Keep it classy and weird Union,
Caro
