How Changing Your Habits Can Change Your Life

Bad habits are tricky things. A bad habit forms over a long period of time, and often goes unnoticed. Sometimes it takes a person pointing out these habits to really open your eyes to these issues going on in your life. Often this is not what anyone wants to hear either....and the truth can be a hard pill to swallow. But the first step in fixing a problem is realizing that there even is one. We as humans often like to think we know everything, but this is not the case. Each individual needs to learn & understand their flaws and their downsides, while simultaneously becoming aware of their strengths.

Every person's goal in life should be to never become complacent. That is why we have dreams and ambitions. We could be content where we are in life, or we can strive for more. I can guarantee that no one person has ever dreamed of being average. No one ever dreams of being over-weight, unhealthy, or bored with their lives. There are 24 hours in the day that we are given, and bad habits are what waste those crutial hours. Life is short, way too short to live life just going through the motions. I apologize if I am the one pointing out your bad habits or life choices, but like I said, the first step in changing your life is realizing you need to change it.

Some bad habits to get rid of are negative thoughts, negative people and negative talk. All of these things just weigh down heavy on one's soul. No one is perfect and will have these bad habits creep up from time to time, but the second you try to eliminate these factors, the better you will feel I promise you. Being humble and kind is one of the best things in life you can strive to become. Humble and kind people live life with a smile on their face, and they project that vibe onto everyone around them. Go enjoy nature, call your parents, drink tea, and be good to others. These are good habits that everyone should take on, and they will change your life. You will not longer let the "small stuff" bother you. You will stop being involved in drama or with people who are no good for you. Life is good peeps, remember that. Good vibes always.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
