The tide moves in and out,
birds migrate from north to south,
in the spring when flower buds bloom and sprout,
the sun rises in the east but soon will return to the horizon.
Seasons change no matter the taken route,
learning what is coming your way by word of mouth,
Darkness tries to block out light with uncertainty and doubt,
through the years the clock will tick and tock and you will wizen.
Winds will blow and storms will brew,
But after each, comes a rainbow,
Everything is clearer and brand new,
you grow in age and looks.
Every door leads to a new chapter,
this life my friend, will be one for the books.
Changes in motion may cause a commotion,
but the sun will always set and rise over the ocean.
