I think it's not too far off to say that we have all experienced our fair share of change. Some people like change, or rather, like good change. Why is change so difficult for everyone else then?
We get stuck in our daily routines.
Everything that has been happening lately is stuff that we're used to, but throw in one small change and we feel as though our world has been turned upside-down.
We never look far enough into the future outcome (that could be better than the way things are now).
The way we do our life is the way we like it and we don't want anything to change that. Could it be possible that a change, big or small, could actually improve the way we are living life now?
Surprise.
The outcome was something completely unexpected. It could have been worse than you ever imagined, but it happened. It could all work out for the better too. Whatever the surprising outcome is, it will all be fine in the end.
We can't change change.
No matter how much we hate it, it is already done and over with. We can't change whatever changed. We can try to change ourselves by learning to cope with it.
We just to need to adapt to our new circumstances. It sounds simple, and believe me, I know it's not, but the only course of action we can take with change is just to take it.
