League of Legends newest champion will be released in Patch 7.23 and she looks really perplexing to say these least. With every new champion in League, I am both extremely intrigued and confused by them and their abilities.

With Zoe, my feelings are very similar to when I saw Bard: puzzlement. Especially with her ultimate ability. But from her teaser video, you can see both a new and interactive champion that reminds me of Ekko. A champion with abilities that are seemingly out of this "rift" with its uniqueness and quirkiness.

Not only is she original, but it seems as if she is going to be so fun with her playstyle, aesthetic, and quotes. Her nature reminds me of Jinx, but her moblity and playstyle remind me Bard.

In terms of ablities I think

More Sparkles: After casting a spell, Zoe's next basic attack deals bonus magic damage.

Her passive? Like I don't know, disappointed just in the simplicity of it. I guess she has a lot going on but still.

Q: Paddle Star, Zoe fires a star that deals magic damage in a small area and applies her passive. She can recast Q mid-flight to redirect the star to a new position near her. The star's damage increases based on the distance it has traveled in a straight line.

I am really HYPE for this ability, it reminds me an old school Nidalee spear and damage seems really strong in lane and for poke.

W: Spell Thief, Enemy summoner spells and active item casts drop spell shards on the ground for an extended period of time. Some minions also drop a spell shard when killed by Zoe. Collecting a spell shard grants one cast of that spell or active item. When casting any summoner spell, Zoe briefly gains bonus movement speed and tosses missiles at the nearest enemy (prioritizing her nearest enemy). Each missile can trigger her passive.

So this ability in the teaser was just wow; before we all knew what it was that gave her so much mobility everyone on Reddit was throwing a fit. But this is such an innovative ability and something I would have never thought of. I love the idea of stealing abilities and such, and this gives Zoe so much variance and style in the game.

E: Sleepy Trouble Bubble, Zoe throws a ball that detonates on the first target hit, dealing magic damage and making the struck enemy drowsy. After a couple of seconds, drowsy enemies will briefly fall asleep and take extra damage from the next attack or spell. Whenever an enemy falls asleep, this ability's cooldown is reduced. If the Bubble hits nothing, it lingers on the ground as a trap. If cast over a wall, it gains casting range.

I like both the cute name and animation, it adds an interesting concept of drowsiness/sleep to the game. I think it will be strong for scouting as well as a barrier in lane/jungle/bushes.

R: Portal Jump, Briefly teleport to a targeted position, then teleport back. During the teleport, you can use abilities and attack normally and see over walls. However, you won't be able to move.

BRIEFLY, I mean briefly. First of all, I LOVE the animation with her sticking her tongue out. Second, I was so confused by this ult with its speed and shortness. I thought her mobility was a ton with her W, but now it gives her so much movement and dodge ability. Champions like Zoe really allow players to show really strong skills in terms of timing and placement. Plus the ability has an 11, 8, and 5 second cool down times. But I really like how it's not just a flash or "riftwalk," it puts Zoe back into her original spot. I can't wait to see her in game with this ability.

I think Zoe will find a nice spot with the rest of the chapions and the upcoming changes in preseason.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
