Challenges Are Rough But The Rewards Can Be Worth It

Challenges Are Rough But The Rewards Can Be Worth It

Challenges are something we all have and go through on a day to day basis, whether they are big or small.

A challenge doesn't always mean winning a prize in a competition between two teams or doing hard work — even though those are challenges we may endure in our life. Challenges can be physical, mental, or emotional.

Some physical examples can include losing a body ligament in an accident or if someone went to war, or in some rarity, maybe they were born without it.

A mental challenge is one that I find more popular because it is one that can be treated. One example that comes to mind is having depression or anxiety which is very common. Even though we can't always see it in other people, we can go to the doctor and get medication to help.

An example of an emotional challenge is one that I have personally gone through, and that is going through a breakup. Even though there are probably many examples of each, these are just a select few that came to mind.

Here is a question: would life really be like if we didn't have challenges?

We all struggle with something. Whether it's trying to train for a marathon or just trying to pass your next exam with an A to pass the class, just remember you have friends to look up to and help you along the way. Friends and family are a key staple in our life and we should use them for support because, let's agree, our life wouldn't be the same without them.

You never know until you get to know someone what challenges they have and/or have gone through. And who knows, it might be the same or similar challenge you have gone through or are going through right now.

Remember: no matter how tough the challenge is, you can conquer anything.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
