They clipped my wings
And ran me through
Just to see what I would do.
And though I bled
I did not cry
Their hopes I would not satisfy.
From the floor,
within my pool
I will not be made to look a fool.
At their faces
did I spit
To prove to them I would not quit.
This is a fight
that lasts ‘til death
I’ll give my blood, my every breath.
And they will know
my wrath is real
My fullest fury they will feel,
And only then
will I be sated.
