1. Condoleezza Rice
Rice was born on Nov. 14, 1954. She was the first black woman to serve as the U.S. Secretary of State. She was also the first woman and the first African-American to serve as provost of Stanford University.
2. Sara Evans
Known as a country singer, this Mountain Brook mom lives with Jay Barker (previous Alabama quarterback) and their three children. Sara Evans was born on Feb. 5, 1971.
3. St. Paul and The Broken Bones
This seven-piece soul band formed in 2012 is based out of Birmingham, Alabama.
4. Courteney Cox
Otherwise known as Monica Geller from the popular '90s-2000s sitcom, "Friends," Cox was born right here in Birmingham on June 15, 1964.

"American Idol" Season 4 runner-up, Bo Bice, was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on Nov. 1, 1975.
6. Sam Hunt
This country star was actually born in Cedartown, Georgia, on Dec. 8,1984. However, he was UAB's very own quarterback starting in 2006.
