It is not unexpected news that bullying has been an ongoing occurrence whether noticed or not. More than just a behavior, it is a social problem. Not only is it an issue common in school and social relationships among kids, but it takes many forms. Bullying is found in all types of relationships, including adult ones.
Depending on your personality and honestly, your ignorance, you can decide which stories you've heard, seen, or experienced are acceptable.
Unacceptable. These situations are always unacceptable but somehow and usually successfully avoided and understated.
As the victim, bystander, or friend of a bullying situation you are always going to wonder why--why it's happening and why you.
This is not just in a school setting or online. Bullying is everywhere, both public and private in society. Maybe it is a form of pure aggression. Maybe fear or insecurity, envy or hatred. Either way, it is morally incorrect and should be taken more seriously because unfortunately it's inevitably going to keep happening as long as we let it. I would say society has done this, but we are society.
Let each moment you see someone being bullied lie within you and help you understand that it shouldn't happen no matter who the victim is. It's plausible that every person has most likely experienced at least one moment of being bullied but it goes unaccounted for. Every one becomes blind to it, numb to it and then it happens and nobody can believe it or understand it. But it's real, toxic, and everyone needs to help prevent it. Stop it.
