Hi Little!

The first time you read this article, you will probably have no idea who I am. I am so incredibly excited to be your big, and I feel so blessed to have you as my little. Before you find out who I am at the end of this week, I wanted to take the time to write this list for you, my ten promises to you as your big.

1. Adventures are a must, and I am excited to enlist you as my future road trip buddy.

2. Whenever you need a break from classes or exams, I will be more than happy to join you on Starbucks runs at all hours of the day.

3. We both share a love for movies and tv shows, so I hope you will join me for many Netflix binge watch sessions.

4. Between your baking skills and my cooking skills, I am convinced we will be capable of making a feast!

5. I cannot wait to come to some of your future extracurricular events! I know that sounds really vague, but if I said exactly what they were, the secret would be revealed! Bottom line, you are very talented at what you do, haha.

6. We all have bad days, but just remember that when you need someone to talk to or a helping hand, I will be there to help. :)

7. I am excited to share with you my love for our chapter, as are the rest of the older members. A sorority is something neither of us thought we would ever join, but here, we have found friends and a sisterhood unlike any other.

8. College can be very stressful, especially when it comes to applications for internships, grad schools, etc. Just know that you are brilliant, and everything happens for a reason. I cannot wait to see you fly. :)

9. We are probably going to have our moments when we don't agree with one another, and that's completely okay. Friendship is about give and take, as well as listening to the other person's side of the story. I don't think a perfect friendship with no bumps is necessarily real, and I do believe that a real friendship is full of beautiful imperfections.

10. Ultimately, just know that I am so excited to have you as my little. You are wonderful, brilliant, genuine, and beautiful, inside and out. I can't wait for Big Little Reveal at the end of the week!

Love,

Your Big

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
