Everyone knows that the characters on "Brooklyn 99" are all amazing detectives/geniuses/people, but in another world they all end up in very different fields. In that other world, they all have college majors, but which ones?

Here are the "Brooklyn 99" characters as they represent college majors.

1. Music

No one at the 99 has a greater appreciation for the amazing art of classical music than Captain Raymond Holt. Plus, he had thoughts on Beyonce's Lemonade that we were never blessed enough to hear.

2. Education

Amy Santiago would be a great teacher, specifically to organize a classroom. Probably not with children, because they're pretty chaotic, but she deals with Jake so we'll give her the whole spectrum of grades.

3. Accounting

Based on how she declared Jake in crippling debt and was making real estate moves behind the scenes, we know Gina can crunch numbers like nobody's business.

4. Nursing

We all know that Terry loves to pump up his own body and to take care of the people he loves. Let's just squish the body and caring for people together and get Terry into some nursing classes.

5. Undecided

Scully would spend most of his first few years, and last couple of years, trying to decide what his strengths and weaknesses were.

6. Business

Sorry, not sorry.

7. Culinary Arts

Charles' food blog would be a hit with his professors. He'd spend four years learning to craft and critique with the best of the best.

8. Chemical Engineering

There are only so many ways you can advocate blowing things up, but for science, Rosa would be able to let that happen.

9. Communications

Those stories of the good old times would be given with a university degree in this other world.

10. Film

Jake Peralta loves Die Hard so much that it inspires him to major in Film just so he can compare every single movie to Die Hard. After graduation, he makes loads of cop films.

11. Government/Political Science

We all know that Wunch thrives off of using policy to tie the hands of those who have scorned her. College would never change that.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
