To the heart broken girl,

I see you, I've been there and I can tell you that it's going to be okay.

You may feel like your heart has been ripped out of your chest, and why shouldn't you? The guy that you love just broke you.

Even though you may not like it life broken hearts sometimes comes with life. Is it fair? Well of course not but it happens. You'll hear people say "don't worry, you'll find someone better" "it's just a stupid boy" "move on" those people may think their helping but honestly it's not making it any easier. It's hard to tell your heart to move on from someone who use to be your everything.

It's okay to be hurt, to cry and even eat your feelings in ice cream if that's what you want to do! We all need our time to move on even if it's just a relationship we're moving on from.

What you can't do is sit and think what did I do wrong? Why was I not good enough? Did they find someone that's better? Why you can do that is because you are enough. You're the best that you can be, never let a man make you feel less than you are.

Then when the time is right, you have to get up and show the world that a broken heart can't hold you down! You're more than that relationship. You have to be the best that you can be single or not. I know it will be hard and you'll think what will I do now?

I know you're broken right now but it will be okay. One day, even if it takes a while you will find a man who loves you. Loves all your imperfections and bad habits. You'll find someone who thinks you're the best thing that's ever happened to them and when you do you're heart will be so full. You will know when it's right.

Take your time, let your heart heal and then get back up and be the best you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
