"F*ck you Brad Culpepper." Words that will always have a special place in Survivor history when one discusses Brad Culpepper. The former NFL player was one of the most polarizing figures from Blood vs Water and he didn't even make the merge. He is one of the few villains that Survivor has been able to have that is the classic "love to hate" guy. In his season, he immediately formed an all guys alliance and took control. He wanted someone out the first few weeks, they were gone.
Brad played too aggresiviely early on and got his emotions involved. It did not help him that when someone would be voted out, they would voice their opinions of how much they hated him at Redemption Island in front of everyone to see. His tribe quickly recognized this and he was soon on the outs. He was voted out after 14 days.
Brad was pretty good at challenges and he survived at lease one round on Redemption Island. He will probably be a very good asset to whatever tribe he is on. Is Brad a "Game Changer"? I don't think so. Is he one of the shows most notorious villains in history? Absolutely. This time around Brad will be on a tribe with all former players instead of just first timers. He is going to step back from being the leader because these people will not take kindly to it and it could cause him to be voted out very early on. If Brad can lay low and align with the right people, I think he could go far. However, I don't see him being able to set aside that football mentality and take orders from someone else. I think we are in for some fights that Brad will cause as well as him being incredibly outsmarted. It will also be interesting to see how he responds to being back after doing hardly any campagining for Second Chance.
I don't think Brad can win the game, but he is sure to be wonderful television.
