On April Fool's Day (almost) three years ago, I made a decision that changed my life since. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a long while now and I don't regret one day since. It's the best feeling in the world to love someone and be their best-friend through it all. I met him around the time that my mom got very sick. They say things happen for a reason, and this was definitely meant to happen for a reason.

I met him when I needed a best friend at the time.

We have been to so many different places, made so many memories along the way, and continue to. We don't always have perfect moments together, but I couldn't see my life any other way. In the end, he is the one person who will never turn their back on me, no matter how bad an argument is. I decided to dedicate this post to him and us since we are three years on Easter this year. God did really bless us this year!

If I can say one thing to those looking for love, don't. Don't look for it, because the more you do, the more you run into the experiences that won't matter the most in the end. We didn't look for each other and we just met by fate. It so happened that our relationship turned into such a beautiful story. Our paths crossed and it was meant to be that way. We have been to each other's proms, so does that make us high school sweethearts?

One important thing to remember through your story with your significant other, don't take a moment for granted.

You were put in each other's lives for a reason and day to day, anything can happen.

Enjoy each moment together to the fullest and expand your horizons together. For us, I know that we have changed each other and grown together. We have gone to different restaurants, beaches, shows, states, and other places. No matter what happens in our lives, we want nothing but love and happiness for each other. It's incredible that we get to experience those two things together.

I am so blessed to have someone who goes out of their way to make me happy.

I wish that everyone finds their own version of happiness and love. Throughout our lives, we experience difficult times, and we search for someone to share experiences with (even when your dad and your boyfriend are friends).

I can say that I one thing that got me through the loss of my mother, was him. He helped me the most and even came to the hospital that day. I don't picture my life without him and I am the happiest I can be with the tragedy I went through because of my true best-friend. Having a friend in the person you love is so important.

Being able to communicate, enjoy experiences, laugh, cry, talk, and do absolutely anything fun together. (He even got me to love country music and play 94.7 when I drive everywhere.)

This is a thank you to my love.

Thank you for doing everything you can to put a smile on my face and all the love in my heart.

Thank you for going to concerts with me, the beach, restaurants I have always wanted to try, and so much more.

Thank you for staying in my life and growing up with me.

Thank you for treating me like the best girl in the world.

Thank you for being my boyfriend, but most of all, my best friend forever.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
