Boy I can see you in those dim streetlights
My head, it couldn’t halt in turning clockwise
So I shied your face away from my sight
wearing façades I didn’t recognize
In the light, we are a crime to be seen
Standing still at sounds of bushes rustling
In your eyes, all I see is bottled green
Like children through scattered scenes trampling
Boy I’ve seen how the mind begins to age
My mind begins to speak voices about you
Heated hearts accompany frigid rage
So I took myself away from the view
Your lips grow fingerprints upon my cheek
Touching my thoughts and now I cannot breathe
