It is annoying to see the countless memes and tweets about how girls never want good guys, and how all we do is call them "thirsty." While it might be true for some women, it's not actually a thing for most of us. What really happens is that boys don't know how to approach us, and when we say no to their advances they get mad. So, gentleman, I am going to give you a few tips on how to get the girl you want. You will have to go beyond these few tips, but it's a start.
You want to avoid "boy byes" at all cost. If you don't know what that means, a "boy bye" is a dismissal or rejection of whatever you are doing or saying. The girl you are flirting with will hit you with a boy bye if you say the wrong thing to her, so you need to know what to avoid, more specifically, when you are trying to show interest.
First of all, you need to know how to identify a boy bye because it might not always be those exact words. If she is not buying what you are selling, then she will walk away from you, pretend like she has a call, call her friends over, tell you she has a boyfriend, ignore you, or reject all your attempts to dance or buy a drink or whatever you try to do. She will only boy bye you if you are being disrespectful or if you are just coming off way too strong. An example of how to get a boy bye is to come up to her, super drunk, at Sports, invade her personal space and say something stupid like "you're a bad b****" or "you're so hot, babe." Just save it.
If you just met her one and a half days ago, do not send her a long text talking about how she is the most beautiful person inside and out and how you are so blessed to have met her. It is just weird and it happens way too often. Wait until you have taken the time to get to know her before you start with the deep texts. Yes, it is nice to receive thoughtful and appreciative messages, but it is creepy if it is too soon. It is not genuine until you actually find out if she really is that great.
Lastly, do not send your friends talk to her. We like confidence and the idea that you guys can do anything to protect us if there is a bar fight, or something. So if you are too scared to talk to her in person, why would she be interested? When you have your friend go talk to her, you risk her liking your friend and not you. At this age, it is just really juvenile to still be doing this, so cut it out. Do not let another guy charm the girl you want, or mess it up for you. Just do the talking yourself. Good luck!
