Bob's Burgers and All It's Glory

Best. Show. Ever.

So what is it about shows such as Family Guy, South Park, Bob's Burger's and others like them? What do they all have in common? For starters, they're all cartoons, secondly they are all directed to attract the adult age group. The show that stands out between this group of adult rated cartoons would be Bob's burgers. Is it absolutely hilarious? I like to think so. Is it the most relatable of the bunch? Yes it is.

For starters, like any other middle aged man with a family, we have Bob. I'm sure we all know a Bob or two. Bob is a middle aged, restaurant owning, family man who's just living life. Now what's so relatable about Bob is that he works for his family and earns for his family not to go do extravagantly stupid things such as family guy, but instead does what he can for his silly witty family.

Then we have Linda. I'm pretty sure Linda has an Italian accent, but like any other mom Linda too does what she can to support her family. Even if that includes getting into crazy entrepreneurial moments such as the restaurant with a show.

Following Linda is Tina. Tina is by far my favorite character, why? Tina tries to be this self loathing teen, but actually does what she can to support her family, including spending her time working with her dad in the restaurant. She's also very sassy and opinionated and teenage girls like to relate to that.

Following Tina we have Jean, like his dad Jean too is a clown, even though hes not a burger joint owner, Jean is very funny. Jean spends his time working in the restaurant for his father but too has his moments of glorified fun from time to time. My favorite was in the episode when Jean had the speaker phone and would go around blasting fart noises in people's ears outside of the store as he advertised the burger joint wearing the burger that his dad gave him. Probably one of the best episodes in the show by far.

Last of the kids we have Louise. Louise may be the smallest of the bunch, but she does her fair share for the family and the restaurant. The irony behind her character in the show is that she is the smallest child out of the three of them but she acts the most adult and even more adult than her parents themselves.

Bob's Burgers really strikes me as a show that can probably last as long as the Simpsons. First off, its cartoon. Who doesn't love cartoons? Am I right? Secondly, it's a show that everyone can relate to, especially those in the restaurant business. Lastly, it's got the same humor if not more humor than all the other shows out there.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
