It's finally Christmas break! All of that studying and cramming for finals week has finally paid off since the hell that is known as finals week is officially over! Now it's time to relax! (Or work.) If all you want to do is binge watch TV shows all break (like me), here are a couple of shows that I would personally recommend watching.
"Friends"
This is a must-recommend classic if you haven't seen "Friends" yet. All ten seasons are on Netflix (for right now, at least). For me, this was the best way to spend the week between New Year's and going back to Stetson last year. It's also funny, and like me, you'll realize that Chandler Bing is indeed your spirit animal (Or perhaps you're more of a Phoebe.)
"How I Met your Mother"
Like "Friends," this is another recommended TV show. It's very similar in plot to the former recommended series, except there's no Jennifer Anniston. Can't win them all. This is also one of my personal favorite TV shows, because it is very relatable.
" The Office"
I just started watching this, but honestly, it's something that I've been told I should watch for so long that I feel comfortable recommending. So far, it definitely a 10/10 I would recommend. Plus, who doesn't want a relationship that's like Jim and Pam's? Steve Carrell as Michael Scott is hands down one of the best characters on TV.
"Parks and Recreation"
It's very similar to "The Office," so needless to say, it is just as hilarious. Plus, Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson. They will change your life.
"Breaking Bad"
Remember the dad from "Malcolm in the Middle"? Well, he's now Walter White in this show. It's also really, really, really good, in case you haven't heard by now.
"Third Rock From The Sun"
Most of you probably haven't heard of the show, since it's a 90s show. But it's got a really young Joseph Gordon Levitt and aliens. If that isn't enough to convince you to watch, I don't know what is.
"30 Rock"
I loved watching this show, and at one point I really wanted to work on an SNL-type TV show. This not only made me laugh, but a lot of the story lines made it relatable to my own life. Plus, if you love Tina Fey, you'll love this show.
"Doctor Who" & "Torchwood"
This classic series (and subsequent spin off) is great for just about anyone. No two shows will take you on twists and turns more (I wouldn't recommend watching the series with Moffat, I digress.)
The great thing about binge-watching a TV show is that it's a great way to relax and wind down from the semester, even if you're finals were not completely horrible.
Overall, there's more shows that I can name to watch, but these are fantastic shows to start with. After all, we only have a month.
