Need some binge-worthy shows to watch on Netflix as you procrastinate work and school? Here are my personal favorites (in no particular order).
1. "90210"
Annie and Dixon Wilson move from Kansas to the very wealthy area of Beverly Hills, and begin attending the famed West Beverly High School in the 90210 zip code. They quickly encounter queen bee Naomi, rebel Silver, troubled Adrianna, and others as the drama unfolds in 90210.
2. "Gossip Girl"
It follows the lives of privileged teenagers on the Upper East Side. Serena Van Der Woodsen is a blonde and beautiful socialite. Everyone knows Serena. Blair Waldorf is Serena's best friend, but it's always about Serena not Blair.
3. "Dexter"
Dexter Morgan, Miami Metro Police Department blood spatter analyst, has a double life. When he's not helping the Homicide division solving murders, he spends his time hunting and killing bad guys that slip through the justice system. He spends his sun-drenched days solving crimes and moonlit nights committing them. But not to worry, our cool-blooded Dexter doesn't kill just anyone. He reserves his homicidal hobbies to taking only the lives of other killers.
4. "Friends"
In this 1994 sitcom, Rachel Green, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Phoebe Buffay are all friends, living off of one another in the heart of NYC. Over the course of 10 years, these average group of buddies go through massive mayhem, family trouble, past and future romances, fights, laughs, tears, and surprises as they learn what it really means to be a friend.
5. "New Girl"
Jess, a bubbly offbeat teacher who is known to burst into spontaneous song, catches her boyfriend with another woman, and needs a new place to live. She moves into a loft with three single guys she's never met before. Nick is a jaded law-school dropout, who usually just wants to be left alone. Schmidt is an flashy businessman who believes he is a gift to women. Winston is a former athlete who doesn't know what to do, but really needs to win whatever it is.
6. "Narcos"
A chronicled look at the criminal exploits of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
7. "Jane the Virgin"
Jane is a religious young Latina who is a waitress in a hotel in Miami. Her life takes a big turn for the unexpected when her doctor (Dr. Luisa Alver) mistakenly artificially inseminates her during her checkup.
