About six years ago, a young Canadian boy released his first album and quickly became a teen heartthrob. His voice may have resembled that of a little girl's, but many tweens and teens adored him despite the fact. Naturally, boys hated him because he was the only guy that the girls were interested in. If you haven't caught on by now, I'm talking about Justin Bieber. Now like I said, Bieber got pretty popular pretty quickly. Many girls had caught Bieber Fever and had no intention of treating the disease. I will reluctantly admit that I had a pretty bad case of Bieber Fever. I had even set my love for the Jonas Brothers aside when this new Canadian cutie made his way to the top of the Billboard charts. Now if for some reason you've been living under a rock for 6 years and missed this epidemic sweep through the world, I can give you a quick debriefing on Bieber's rise, fall, and resurrection.

The first CD Justin Bieber dropped was called "My World." It is admittedly still on my Spotify to this day. He released a slew of other CDs after "My World" including "My World 2.0," a Holiday album, "Believe," and a few acoustic editions as well. When Bieber first came on the scene he had long, shaggy hair that many boys would soon start to copy. However, with each CD his hair seemed to get shorter and shorter. In my tween mindset, I thought he only got cuter and cuter. However, Justin was growing older and older with every CD he released. He ceased to comply with his sweet, boy next door image. He dated and broke up with Selena Gomez, egged a house, got a myriad of tattoos, and did a lot of other things that got him in trouble. Some girls had started to lose interest in him after these antics, they were cured of their sickness so to speak. Now it is six years later and all I keep seeing on Twitter is multiple posts regarding Bieber's return.

Alas America, it is true. There is a new strain of Bieber Fever embarking on a deadly rampage. Both my Twitter and Facebook news feeds show just how many victims Bieber Fever has claimed. Now if you literally just crawled out from under your rock long enough to read this article you might have missed the fact that Bieber released a new CD, "Purpose." The CD had 18 new, edgier songs. I was a little doubtful about his return, so I took the time to listen to a few of the songs Twitter has been blowing up over. It turns out that Bieber is not one to be doubted. The 12-year-old in me squealed the whole time the songs played. Justin took the time to clean up his bad boy act, although not by much, and he is ready to take the world by storm once again. I've seen tweets from guys who once hated Justin Bieber now praising his new music. Bieber Fever is back people. How will you protect yourself from the disease?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
