5 Bible Verses To Remind You God Is Always Faithful.

1. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

As a Christian, I am guilty of asking God why. Why am I going through so much heartbreak? Why did God take this person away from me? Why does God let my depression overcome me? When I asking myself these why's, I often open up my bible to this verse. I then realize that if I lean on the Lord and give him all my worries and grief then he will give me the strength to overcome all of these difficult emotions.

2. "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Exodus 33:14

I often forget that no matter what I am going through, that God is always by my side. He is always with me through the hardest days of my life and the happiest days of my life. I find so much comfort in this verse because it means no matter what I am feeling, he knows what I am feeling and he right there beside me to lean on him and to give me rest.

3. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

When I started my freshman year of college I let the anxiety of my classes, rushing a sorority, and making new friends take over my life. I started to stray away from my faith until I saw this bible verse on a poster in the library. It then all came flooding back to me. Why am I letting my anxiety control me when God already has a plan for my life? Why am I not leaning on him to help with my classes, joining a sorority, and making new friends? I hope when you feel the anxiety of whatever your life brings you that you can come back to this verse.

4. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

This verse reminds me when I think I can't do something anymore or when I feel that I am not strong enough to do something that the Lord will give me the strength to persevere. When we lose someone close to us its easy to be upset that they are not here on earth anymore then God lays it on our hearts that they are in a better place which always renews my strength and gives me perseverance.

5. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

In today's world that is surrounded by anxiety over the Coronavirus, the controversy of the Black Lives Matter Movement, and the negative things we see on social media, it is very easy to get lost in our own thoughts and to be filled with anxiety about what is to come. This verse reminds us that we as Christians can pray to him and he will find and give us peace in all these things no matter how we feel.

I hope these verses will let you find peace and strength in whatever you are going through. Just remember that you are not alone and you are not the only person feeling these feelings. The Lord is always by your side and he will never leave you stranded. Just reach out to him and you will find comfort.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
