Flash tattoos, or gold/metallic temporary tattoos, have been the latest and greatest accessory craze this summer. These vibrant tattoos can be seen all over music festivals, on the hottest celebrities, and decorating every trendy Instagram selfie. These tattoos are a staple in so many peoples’ daily attire that even Queen B herself has decided to throw her name in the flash tattoo mix.
This past week, FlashTat.com announced their new Beyoncé collection, featuring a five sheet, 57-piece pack that was designed by Beyoncé herself. The collection includes geometric honeycomb cuffs, flowers, necklaces that say “Diva” and “Flawless,” and various phrases such as “I woke up like this,” “xo,” and “Let it bee.” She literally sneezed on this trend and the trend got sicker.

Beyoncé promoted her collection to her 42.4 million Instagram followers by posting a picture of her own “BLOW” tattoo, which sits just above her left hip. She captioned the snap “#BeyonceXFlashTattoos,” completed with the bee emoji. People who purchase the tattoo set will also find an identical “BLOW” tattoo, allowing customers to have matching tattoos with the singer. Or, you can brag to all of your friends, you and Beyoncé have twin BFF tattoos.
Looking over B’s amazing new endeavor leads me to pose an obvious question: are we sure this superwoman is human? Let’s go over the facts, shall we?
She is a beyond talented singer. Her dancing has inspired the masses for generations. Every hair flip has us average peasants overcome with emotions. She is a mother and wife who never ceases to look amazing. She has a successful clothing line (House of Deréon), she is a talented actress, and, she has such a soothing speaking voice that listening to her talk is the equivalent of sitting on a soft couch while engulfed in a Snuggie and drinking warm, delicious tea. Seriously, is there anything she can’t do?!
