Spring is turning into summer and with the warmer weather is becoming more and more consistent, it's time to take the books outside! Of course, the whole of campus is gorgeous, but finding some great spots for study and scenery can be tricky. Here is a guide of a few to help you out.
Weinstein International Center
Now it may be a walk for some, but it is definitely worth it. With Passport's sushi and sandwiches and the globe fountain as background noise, the International Center definitely helps ease the pain of that 6-page paper.
Outside the Library
Either at the tables out front or the side patio nearer the MRC, if you can grab a table you are sure to have the sun on your back as you are reading your next book that you left slightly too long to start.
Westhampton Deanery
The Deanery and Deanery garden are such a beautiful space to work in the summer, with large glass windows and tables on the grass outside, this quiet space on this side of campus to relax and get work done whilst feeling good!
Weinstein Hall
Ryland Library
A great place for a hot day! This shaded and air conditioned, but bright and open space is ideal for busy times such as finals! Grab a spot and nip over to 8:15 and you'll be set for the day.
Greek Theatre
Bring your laptop or notebook down with a towel to the Greek Theatre and spend a lazy Sunday chilling out with friends on the quiet side of campus!
Jepson Hall
A central spot with shade or sunny spots, you can make it to Jepson easily from B-school or the Library! Be there early evening and see the Richmond sky turn magical colors!
With only 5 weeks until finals, these summery study spots are sure to come in handy. Use your upper hand and take advantage while you can!
