If you need a new Netflix binge (don't we all?), I can help. Here are a few of my all-time favorites. There is always something for everyone.

1. Stranger Things

If you haven't seen Stranger Things- you need to. This supernatural, thriller Netflix-original draws you in with its cinematography, special effects, great acting and impeccable storyline. Even if you're afraid of monsters, like I kind of am, it doesn't matter because the frightening images only add to the interesting complexity of the plot. A 12-year old, Will, goes missing and all his friends search for him- but amidst the search, they discover something beyond us. This show is ground-breaking, thrilling, and definitely worth watching. Plus it's only 8 episodes so you can binge all you want and not feel bad about yourself.

2. How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM)

Watch this 9 season sitcom for Neil Patrick Harris as the notorious Barney Stinson, the group taking on Manhattan, or for Ted Mosby's everlasting search (struggle) to find love. I watch it for all of the above. You will not regret watching this show- it'll make you laugh and cry all at once. The raw emotions, hilarious script, character development and relationships are both inspiring and entertaining. Although the ending is controversial among passionate viewers, the show as a whole is worth watching.

3. Friends

Yet another sitcom- Friends is a classic. Just like How I Met Your Mother, this show follows the lives of an interesting group of young adults living in Manhattan. For anyone who loves a good mix of comedy and romance- this is the show for you. It is a full 10 seasons of tears and laughter. Joey's incessant stupidity, Chandler's sarcastic comments, Monica's OCD, Rachel's obsession over Ralph Lauren, Phoebe's cat songs, and Ross's neuroticism will definitely entertain you-I promise.

4. How To Get Away With Murder

How To Get Away With Murder (HTGAWM) is a thrilling drama that includes everything from mystery to romance. Annalise Keating and her badass group of lawyers help her solve several cases- including murder cases. This show will shock you, through its incredible plot line, witty characters, and groundbreaking drama, you will never be bored. It will keep you on the edge and it is definitely binge-worthy. And if you want to learn how to get away with murder- watch and take notes.

5. Cutthroat Kitchen

If you love food and competition- you need to watch this show. Here's the run-down: contestants compete by cooking various kinds of food (for example quesadillas, Cuban sandwiches, spaghetti, tiramisu). But that's not all- Alton Brown, the host, makes this competition a little more interesting. The contestants must sabotage their opponents to win. The four contestants all start out with a generous stack of $25,000 cash, and they must spend the money at auctions. At the auctions (during each round), there are items that a contestant can buy to either hinder another, like having to cook all food on a camp stove or help themselves, like being the only one that can taste-test their food. After each round, a chef is eliminated, and the winner will likely win pride and a stack of cash (that is if they don't spend it all on the auctions). This competition is definitely not a typical cooking show and worth it (even if it'll make you really hungry afterwards).

6. Shameless

This show is exactly what it sounds like. It is 6 seasons of shameless decisions made by a dysfunctional family in Chicago. The show is about the Gallaghers, a dysfunctional family with an alcoholic for a father. Although Frank Gallagher and his children are slightly crazy, it is a very entertaining show to watch. The storyline will shock you and even when you get to know more about the characters, their decisions will always surprise you. This show demonstrates poverty in a very realistic way, that any family can be poor and you might not even realize they are living in a neighborhood over from you.

7. Prison Break

Prison Break is a work of genius. Michael Scofield's brother, Lincoln Burrows was wrongly convicted and is put on Death Row. The show's first season exposes Michael's plan to break his brother out Fox River State Penitentiary. The intricacy of Michael's plan is impeccable- maybe even too genius to recreate. The show demonstrates just how far someone is willing to go to help loved ones. It is definitely binge-worthy and thrilling to watch as each episode the storyline unfolds. The unexpected turns will keep you watching- I promise.

Michael Scofield is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows, was convicted of a crime he didn't commit and put on Death Row. Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary, then sets in motion a series of elaborate plans to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Once out of jail, their perils aren't over -- the brothers must flee to escape recapture and battle an intricate political conspiracy that puts everyone's life at risk.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
