Best Movies Of 2015 And The Ones We Can't Wait For In 2016

2015 was a pretty great year for movies. Some movies broke box office records while some didn't even make a dent in the entertainment bucket. Yeah, I'm looking at "Tomorrowland."

Some movies made us cry our eyes out and some movies just made us go what the flip just happened. 2015 was the year that we all fell in love with Amy Schumer and we wondered what crazy stunt Shia Lebeouf would get in himself into next. Let's take a look back at some of the most memorable movies of 2015 and movies that we all are dying to see in 2016.

1. "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

Does it compare to the first "Avengers"? Nope, but it was more comedic and still enjoyable. Also, no Loki? Big mistake.

2. "Jurassic World"

This broke all of the box office records until "Star Wars" came around, but it was the movie that made us fall in love with Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt needs to be in every movie.

3. "Inside Out"

This movie hit me right in the feels. My emotions. Literally.

4. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2"

Goodbye, Katniss. It was nice knowing you.

5. "Trainwreck"

The movie that made America fall in love with Amy Schumer. More Hader/Schumer movies please.

6. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"

The movie that everyone has been waiting for decades. Apparently it was worth all that waiting.

7. "Cinderella"

Looking real good, Robb Stark.

8. "Mad Max: Fury Road"

Genius.

9. "The Martian"

Once again, Matt Damon gets left behind on a planet. You would think that he would learn this time around but nope.

10. "Furious 7"

Saying goodbye is kind of hard — even harder when it is Paul Walker. RIP.

Now, it's time for 2016. There are so many amazing movies that are going to have a 2016 premiere date. Let's hope most of them are good and not box office failures.

1. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"

The return to our favorite Wizarding world, and this time it's with Eddie Redmayne, basically one of five Brits who wasn't in the original "Harry Potter" series. Redmayne sure can work that blue coat.

2. "Batman v Superman"

Ben Affleck as Batman? Yeah, we had our doubts too, but that trailer makes him look pretty badass. Plus Henry Cavill as Superman, swoon.

3. "Doctor Strange"

Benedict Cumberbatch in a Marvel film? Our dreams are finally coming true.

4. "Captain America: Civil War"

We might need a few boxes of tissues for this film. "He's my friend." Well, there goes my emotions.

5. "The BFG"

Finally. FINALLY.

6. "Finding Dory"

Do you know how long we have waited for this film? Far too long, that's for certain.

7. "Ghostbusters"

An all-female cast of Ghostbusters?! Finally. With the "SNL" ladies?! Dream cast.

8. "Zoolander 2"

Another movie that we have waited far too long for. Is that Benedict Cumberbatch in the trailer?! Freaky because he has all white hair and no eyebrows. Yikes.

9. "X-Men: Apocalypse"

It's going down and we have never been more stoked because JLaw is back to kick some ass.

10. " Star Trek Beyond"

We welcome back our favorite duo: Kirk and Spock.

2016 is going to be a good year for a movie addict. Let's hope none of these tank.

What are some films you loved in 2015? What are some films that you cannot wait for in 2016?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
