The Best Lyrics From Ed Sheeran's "Divide"
The Independent

On March 3rd, Ed Sheeran put out his new album, "Divide." The album has 16 tracks, and all of them are amazing. No matter what your mood is, you are going to be able to find a song on this album you want to listen to. There is everything from dancing, to heart break, to falling in love. When listening to the album for the first out of a million times, these are the lines that stood out to me from each song:

Eraser

“And when the world’s against me is when I really come alive.”

Castle on the Hill

“I still remember these old country lanes when we did not know the answers.”

Dive

“And I could live, I could die hanging onto the words you say.”

Shape of You

“We talk for hours and hours about the sweet and the sour.”

Perfect

“When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath but you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight.”

Galway Girl

“I swear I'm gonna put you in a song that I write about a Galway Girl and a perfect night.”

Happier

“My friends told me one day I'll feel it too and until then I'll smile to hide the truth.”

New Man

“Still lookin' at your Instagram and I'll be creepin' a lil' I'll be tryin' not to double tap, from way back.”

Hearts Don’t Break Around Here

“I feel safe when you're holding me near love the way that you conquer your fear.”

What Do I Know?

“Just remember life is more than fittin' in your jeans it's love and understanding positivity"

How Would You Feel (Paean)

“I'll be taking my time spending my life falling deeper in love with you.”

Supermarket Flowers

“Oh, I'm in pieces, it's tearing me up, but I know a heart that's broke is a heart that's been loved.”

Barcelona

“I fell in love with the sparkle in the moonlight reflected in your beautiful eyes.”

Bibia Be Ya Ya

“And I am only being honest with you, I get lonely and make mistakes from time to time.”

Nancy Mulligan

“On the summer day when I proposed I made that wedding ring from dentist gold.”

Save Myself

“I gave all my oxygen to people that could breathe.”

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
