My 10 year old daughter, and I think every kid in america, wants a hoverboard (some call it a segway which is far from the truth) for the holidays. Technically these are called "balance boards" and range in price from $250 to $2000. As I was doing my research on the internet to potentially buy one for my kids, I came across these videos which along with alot of laugher, also enlightened me to the unavoidable events that these hoverboards would cause in my household.
As you gather for the holidays, someone's likely to get one of these - and all age groups are going to get a shot at trying to master the hoverboard. Here are my predictions:
The drunk uncle who's always the life of the party takes his shot...
This young mom wants to show the kids how it's done...
The Star Wars dad getting ready for the movie premiere...
The coworker who wants to show off the new toy her boyfriend got her...
And last but not least...The authority figure (former bull rider) who splurges for the real segway...
With all the fails though, once you master the craft - there's some pretty cool stuff you can do with these things - and wouldn't be surprised we see this group below on america's got talent some time in the near future.
Happy Hoverboard Holidays to you all - be safe and have fun!
