Best Animated Shows For Young Adults
Roberto Enrique Rincon

Personally, the best animated shows for young adults is a tough subject. But I believe I got the shows that will get any young adult back home to watch them! Or maybe they will just pull out their phone and watch it right then and there. These shows are the following: "Dragonball Z", "Family Guy", and "American Dad".

I have watched all of these shows and enjoyed every bit of them. Some were funny, some were sad, and everywhere in between. I want to start with "Dragonball Z". This show is actually a series of shows. There is "Dragonball", "Dragonball Z Kai", "Dragonball GT", and now currently being shown "Dragonball Super". It also contains about movies, which are: "Dragonball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku", "Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods", "Dragonball Z: Bio-Broly, Dragonball Z: Bojack Unbound", "Dragonball Z: Broly – Second Coming", "Dragonball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan", "Dragonball Z: Cooler’s Revenge," "Dragonball Z: Dead Zone"," Dragonball Z: Fusion Reborn", "Dragonball Z: Lord Slug", "Dragonball Z: Resurrection of ‘F’", "Dragonball Z: Super Android 13", "Dragonball Z: History of Trunks", "Dragonball Z: Return of Cooler", "Dragonball Z: The Tree of Might", "Dragonball Z: The World’s Strongest", "Dragonball Z: Wrath of the Dragon", and a few more. "Dragonball" tells the childhood story of main character Goku. It follows his adventures all the way until he grows up. Then comes "Dragonball Z Kai", which has some of the most important episodes of the entire series. "Dragonball GT" is the coolest of shows but it doesn’t follow the actual time slot and it is not considered canon. "Dragonball Super" just started this year and it is interesting to watch. Because the main characters do not feel like they are the strongest fighters. At times it almost feels like they could lose. "Dragonball Z" is a very action-packed anime. It’s full of fighting sequences and is at times fast paced. It is really good and could keep you interested for way more than a year.

The next show is show is "Family Guy". This show is something else. It is so much fun to watch and it has always kept me entertained – even the episodes that I have already seen! It is a show that is vulgar and full of offensive content, but it does it in such a way that you can’t help but laugh. You will definitely fall in love with each and every character and could very well be emotionally tied to them. They have a series of movies where they do a spoof of "Star Wars". This was equally funny and interesting. There were times that I just sat down and watched this show nonstop.

And finally, I get to "American Dad". This show is similar to "Family Guy" in content, but there is an alien as one of the main characters. "American Dad" has been a show that has kept me occupied for many sleepless nights as well as boring mornings and stressful afternoons.

So, those are the shows that I would recommend for any young adult to watch. They are interesting and enjoyable. If you ever feel bored or stressed out, just turn on one of these shows on YouTube or Netflix, put your feet up, and let those problems go away.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
