People take sleep for granted, especially college students. It's such a basic thing to do, but it's so important. You tend to ask yourself: why am I so tired? Well, maybe it's because you have so many works and activities to do during the day, but that's all an excuse if you say that you never have time to rest. There's always been solutions to get less tired and be more active, these simple tips will help you in getting the answers for being tired. Little things you do and don't can exhaust you physically and mentally, that's why you should live your life with energy and you'll never get tired.

1. Stop being a perfectionist

Trying to be perfect is impossible, the stress of looking for perfection makes you work harder and longer than necessary. Set goals that are possible to reach, obviously never limit yourself to what you want to do, but know that some things aren't achievable. Be happy with what you build or do, you're better off being tranquil with your end result than looking for a solution on how to make it better.

2. Coffee isn't always your best friend

Starting your day with a cup of coffee is not bad. In fact, a cup of coffee in the morning is actually good for you, but like everything, things in excess is never good. Relying on coffee to get through the day is unnecessary, and most likely you'll be an addict of caffeine. Drink it in moderation, but don't depend on it, or you'll crash and burn after two hours of every cup of coffee.

3. Never skip breakfast

I can't stress enough how important this is, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you wake up and skip it, you'll feel lazy. Why? Because breakfast is what starts your day off, it gets the blood pumping and oxygen flowing.

So, wake up and eat some hearty eggs with toast on the side, and most importantly, don't forget the juice.

4. Get some rest on the weekends

Don't rely on weekend catch up. You're probably tempted to catch up on some sleep that you missed during the week, but no, this worsens your sleep pattern. Try to keep a regulated amount of sleep every day, so you know how many hours you do sleep. Also, avoid sleep disruptions, the weekends are not exclusively for partying and going out, chill a bit and relax.

5. Get hydrated

You've probably heard it a thousand times, drinking at least 8 glasses of water is important for your health. Being dehydrated is a common sign of being tired, try to drink every two hours and pee frequently. You'd be surprised how easy it is to become dehydrated, so drink up.

Water is necessary, if you get bored with it, just switch it up and add some fruits to liven up the flavor.

6. Learn to say 'no'

Don't waste your time on people-pleasing, sure, you might feel happy after helping people, but what about you? Do you spend time on yourself? Most people don't and that's sad. Learn to say no to people, if not, you'll be draining your energy and time.

Make time for yourself, and if you're going to spend time tiring over something, make sure it's something about you, if not, that time was probably wasted.

7. Cut on technology before sleep

Stop using technology 30 minutes before going to bed. The glaring light of your tablet, phone or laptop will tire your eyes out. Instead, wind down to relax or read a book before sleeping and you'll wake up more energized.

Try to keep your phone at least 15 inches away from your bed, keep doing that for a whole week and you'll see that you'll go to sleep faster and less tired.

8. Exercise is needed

You would think skipping exercise because you're tired would be the right choice, but it's not. You mostly need exercise if you're that tired, regular workouts will make your heart and lungs work more efficiently.

Next time you're laying down watching tv like a couch potato, take some 10 minutes off and walk a bit, you'll feel way better.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
