Joining a sorority is one of the most fun, exciting, and crazy things you could ever do during college. It’s also the most rewarding.

You finally receive a bid from your favorite sorority after the whirlwind that is recruitment.

You can always get great advice from your big.

When you realize that your shirts are WAY better than the other sororities.

You don’t understand why your parents always ask what your plans are for the weekend, because it’s always something with your sisters.

You always have somebody to talk to about your love life.

Which also means that you always have somebody to help you through your breakups.

You get sent to standards for the first time and it’s the actually scariest thing that’s ever happened to you.

But then you realize it's actually not a big deal and no matter what you did, it's been done before, and probably by the discipline chairman.

You get personally offended when people make fun of sorority girls and greek life.

Meeting your sorority’s alumnae is super exciting.

Going through recruitment as an active member is the most exciting/scary/---- and picking your new sisters is of the upmost importance.

Because they're the ones who are going to carry out your legacy when you're long gone.

Your philanthropy will always hold a special place in your heart and gives you an opportunity to make the world a better place.

You’ll always have a workout buddy, even if it only lasts for a week.

Most importantly, you can’t imagine your life any other way.

So enjoy your four years of being a sorority girl; I promise you won't regret it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
