1. Push yourself to get out of bed.
Set an early alarm; heck set a couple if you need to because, at some point, you won’t even try to hit snooze. Another way maybe is to place your alarm somewhere away from your bed so that you are forced to jump out and silence it. By working out early in the morning, you are a step ahead of everyone and are more eager to start the day.
2. Before going to bed, set aside your workout gear.
By doing that, you prevent yourself from lingering around your bedroom trying to find the right top, pants, socks and shoes. Save yourself the time of what some might consider “dreading” to go to the gym and just go, go, go.
3. Make the ultimate workout playlist.
There is nothing more motivating than listening to those pump up songs that really make you want to sweat out every inch of stress, anger or anything else that might be on your mind.
4. Be sure to have a snack waiting for you at home.
Make a smoothie, eat some eggs, have yogurt. It does not matter, but by having a good, healthy snack, you are fueling yourself for a fantastic day.
5. Sign yourself up for a class.
By signing up for early morning classes, you know that you have to go and get your money's worth. Whether its yoga, pilates, barre, cycling or anything else, it will be sure to get you moving and feeling great! Also, no one wants to be the person that leaves in the middle of the class, so be sure to push yourself until the end.
6. Remind yourself how great you are going to look.
Some mornings are tougher than others to get out of bed and work out, but keep a positive mind-set about how unreal the results are gonna look if you keep up with it. There is no better feeling than looking in the mirror and noticing the improvements throughout your body.
7. Follow some inspiring Fitspos on Instagram
Kayla Itsines was always a huge inspiration of mine, as well as many others. Follow the accounts that inspire you and get you going. Even following Kourtney Kardashian on Snapchat is a motivation by seeing how tough her workouts are. Sometimes even putting them as the background on your phone is another reminder that says, "Hey! Go workout and go KILL IT!"
8. Realize that it is not always about how you will look, but also how you will feel.
Something that I have noticed about waking up early to work out is that it gives me a more positive mindset for the day. I always feel more energized and excited because I know that I just sweat out any worries and I am ready to conquer a whole new day.
