7 Ways to increase your good karma

We all have those days where we feel that the world is against us. Ever heard of the term "everything happens in threes"?

Well, I'm going to show you 7 simple tips to reverse negativity and bad luck, increasing your overall well-being.

1. Listen to Your Loved-Ones

Family and friends are everything. Sometimes those around you need a simple reminder that you are there to listen. By being there for those you love, it manifests the love back to you.

2. Listen to Yourself

At times you may feel that you don't know yourself. Take some moments of silence and really breathe. You may be surprised what your body and mind has been trying to tell you.

3. Take a Yoga Class

Yoga is a great way to re-center your body's alignment. It provides a mixture of poses that opens up your chakras as well as helps in obtaining a work-out.

4. Write Down the Things You Want

By writing down the things you truly want in life, it sends the universe a message, bringing it to fruition. Taking the time to think about what you want and putting it on paper helps in guiding your future goals and increases the chance of your achievement.

5. Eat a Balanced Meal

Food is everything. I know what you're thinking... it's 'just' food. Well, not quite.

Food tends to be an underlying cause for negativity. If you are eating a well-balanced and nutritious meal every day, you will notice a shift in both your body and mental state. But...of course it's okay to eat that candy bar every once in awhile!

6. Do a Random Act of Kindness

Holding the door for someone, paying for a stranger's meal, making a donation to a charity. These are all examples of kindness that not only makes you feel good for doing the act but impacts others in a big way.

7. Smile

Smile. That is the best thing to do when you are feeling down. When you smile, you let light back into your body. You create a positive glow that encourages others to smile as well.
