There will come a time in your life when you feel as if you have nothing left. You have reached the end. You have nothing left to give. You find yourself surrounded by doubt, failure and heartbreak. Keep going. You can't seem to find the light at then end of the tunnel, and you think there will never be a way out. You find yourself swimming in an ocean that never ends. You're rushing against a current with no mercy. Keep going. The harder you try, the harder you fall. You feel trapped and afraid. You're afraid of the future and the things that you cannot accomplish. Keep going.
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it!
Life is not always going to entail things that make you happy. S**t is going to get hard, really hard. Being able to overcome adversity is an essential part of being a human being. There are going to be hardships, pain, struggle and conflict. You may not be in control of the things that happen in your lifetime, but you are absolutely in control of how you react to situations. Learning to push through the tough times can give you strength for the future and faith in yourself. You are capable of so much more than you could have ever imagined.
I once heard a story of a man who ran a marathon with a broken foot, and he continued to run until the race was over. When asked how in the world he finished the race, he stated “When you are down to your last breath, and you think you just can’t go one any longer, your body is only 40 percent finished.” Remember this story in the darkest times and remind yourself that you can keep going. When faced with a difficult issue, we tend to give up and blame ourselves. Instead of quitting, push through. The climb to success isn’t a smooth coast; it’s a bumpy rollercoaster full of loops and twists. Expect the unexpected.

Hard times are just life’s way of forcing you to put your big girl panties on. Have you ever had one of those days? You know, the days when nothing seems to go right and the world is turning against you. Well guess what? Everyone goes through the exact same thing every once in a while. Disappointment is a part of growing as a person, but it does not define you. If you pour your soul into something and no one notices, do it anyway. Do the things that make you happy, smile, excited, etc. Don’t let the troubles and disappointments of life stop you from reaching your true potential.
Meredith Grey did not become a surgeon by sitting on her a** all day. She worked until she accomplished her goals. Can you imagine if Neil Armstrong just gave up on going to the moon? Imagine if he just gave into the pressures and struggles of the world around him. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, do some tequila shots, who cares! Life will always give you lemons; make the situation yours and own it.
Let out your feelings and try not to hold everything inside. Have a freak out, eat some Chinese food, take a bubble bath. Do whatever needed to help coax with your issues. Do not let your worries turn into problems. Be a warrior, not a worrier. Life isn’t easy, and it never will be. Learning to fight through your demons can give you power and the will to continue persevering. So go out and do the impossible. Conquer the fire-breathing dragon. Keep going.“You’re off to great places, Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting, so…get on your way”
