Feel free to step into the futuristically glitchy world of Social Combat. The bay area emcee locks with producer Yung Atlas for a mellow track titled “GlitchArt.”
Released earlier this month, via his Soundcloud “GlitchArt” features Combats in-your-face boom bap lyrical approach over a hip-hop, vapor wave type instrumental. Combats consistent appreciation for 90s hip-hop as well as his precision with his diction ensures those never too tired to get swisher will keep this track in heavy rotation.
Turn down your doubt, turn up your headphone, Social Combat is dropping knowledge.
It seems like any 8P production accompanied by Mason Monroe versatile style is a guaranteed banger, this new track is no exception. No heartbreaks over this track as Monroe lays down a wicked verse for anybody sneak dissing. “No Mo” also Features new bay area up and comer A. Cai.
The female emcee easily transitions from a chill rap to singing without missing a beat. The smoothness of r&b and jazz rhythms mixed with that signature bando like 808s and hi-hats give that track it irresistible vibe. Maybe “No Mo” is the foreshadowing of a future project from the enigmatic Cai.

It’s almost impossible to be any creative type within the bay area music scene and not have seen one specfic brand sticking out like the checks on high top air force ones.

Jarfarlee an exemplary example of what can happen when an artist believes in their art enough to invest all of themselves. Recently Motivational Gypsy released an in-depth interview with the artist in which Jarfarlee discussed staying motivated, working three jobs and transforming into Jafarlee.
