We've all had those days where we wish we didn't have to get out of bed. On these days, it seems as if everything goes wrong. From waking up late to tripping on your way to class, life is just rough sometimes. Fortunately, having a bad day is something that we can all relate to.
Even Beyonce has bad days ... occasionally. Instead of being ashamed of these bad days, we should embrace them in all their glory. We should look at the events that take place in a more optimistic light, and then maybe we will find that these bad days aren't bad at all. I present to you a list of "bad" things, that are actually great when you think about it.
1. So you slept through all five of your alarms and missed most of class?
Oh well, at least now you actually have time to get some coffee. Plus you got extra sleep, which is always golden.
.
2. Now that you finally crawled out of bed and got your coffee or tea, you can finally make it to class.
But on the way, thanks to these beautiful, uneven sidewalks, you trip, which is always frustrating. But, hey, at least you've still got your coffee or tea. You also have an excuse to avoid eye contact with everyone, which is always nice.
3. You've finally made it to class and sit down.
The professor then announces that you get your midterms back today, yay. You get yours back and you see that you barely passed. But, oh well, Ds get degrees. Plus, who really cares in the long run. That Netflix show you watched instead of studying is still totally worth it.
4. You get to your next class and realize that you "forgot" to do the readings.
This also happens to be the one time your professor actually wants to discuss the readings. It just so happens that thanks to your luck, your professor decides to call on you. While it's obvious you didn't read and you may embarrass yourself in front of the class, it's all good. Since the reading is being discussed, chances are you won't have to read it. That means that while you might not have understood your professors references, you at least have more time for Netflix. It's a win-win situation.
5. Finally your day is done and you can head back to your room.
On the way back, you run into many people, trip, and get slightly winded when going up the steps. Plus your walking behind people that walk like they have nowhere to be. But now that you've made it through a whole day of self-loathing, nothing can drag you down. You can now go back to your room, take a nap, and eat some delicious food. Plus, the slow walking makes it easier for you to appear less out of breathe after going up those stairs.
