Back To The 'Jersey Shore' We Go

That's right folks, Jersey freaking Show is coming back in 2018!!!

Let me just be the first to say that this is probably the greatest news I've heard all of 2017. And here's why:

First of all, we have been deprived of any new episodes of Jersey Shore since 2012, you know, the year the world was supposed to end.. but for some of us, it did because they took that heaven sent show away from us.

Let me just emphasize that I watched this show from the age of 13-15, why my parents let me watch? I don't know but I'm damn glad they allowed it. Looking back at it now makes me think about how much it relates to my life in this exact moment as a young adult who drinks too much and causes too many problems for oneself. It reminds me that everyone sort of has the same path as a 21-25-year-old, where your life isn't quite where you want to be but it's not where it used to be.

Jersey shore also shows me that I'm not the only crazy person living in this world. I say things I shouldn't and do things I shouldn't but that doesn't make me any less of a person just like it didn't for the cast. Yes, they definitely had some "what the fuck are you doing with your life" moments but you're a liar if you say you don't have those moments at least 5 times a day.

All in all this reunion is going to be great because it's going to show us just how much they've changed (or maybe haven't changed) from earlier seasons. It'll show us that no matter how much you party, and how much you do things wrong, you're always still going to be moving forward and get to the places you want to be.

I have very high expectations for you, Jersey Shore, don't let me down!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
