Ah, August once again. Time to wrap up summer and say some goodbyes. Such a bittersweet time of year; leaving home and our families to return to the stress of school and responsibilities.
The first step to going back to school is packing.
Hours on hours of literally packing your entire life away. You're worried that you forgot something, or that you're not going to have enough room, yet you shove almost everything you own into 45 different suitcases.
Once you're packed, you actually have to get to school.
Whether you're four hours or 30 minutes away, its a process. Either your parents drive you, probably badgering you the whole way there, or you drive yourself and pray that you can see out your rear view mirror once all your bags are in the car.
Once you get there and unpack, you actually get to see the friends that you haven't seen for up to two months.
This reconciliation should unnecessarily look something like a reunion of two people who haven't seen each other in years.
Now back to reality; you should probably unpack your life.
You're gonna be flustered and most likely mad. Oh, looks like you did forget something too. Too late.
All done unpacking? Looks like its time for a little housewarming party.
Then in the morning you realize you might have messed up...
It's okay though because school starts tomorrow.
And even on your first day back in class, your professors find someway to swamp you with work.
Can't forget about those textbook prices either...
In the end it's worth it though, you're finally back at your favorite place.
