Amy Adamle

Spring break is almost upon us and what better way to start spring than a #fresh new love? This week's bachelorette is a Stillwater, Minnesota native and a soon-to-be reporter. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Alpha Chi Omega's one and only...Amy Adamle!

How would your Alpha Chi sistas describe you?

Like a box of chocolates, ya never what you’re gonna get lol.

What makes you a killer Bachelorette of the Week?

My fantastic smile and amazing personality. Also, I’m super humble!

Name something most people don’t know about you.

I have a chihuahua named Papi who wears a diaper.

If your love life was a song what would it be?

All Time Low – Jon Bellion

What advice do you have for other single ladies out there?

If you can’t find love here just move to a foreign country like Eleanor Plaunt! There’s a whole new batch of options!!

Looking back on the past for years, what is your favorite memory at the U?

Nothing can top freshman year Machy Days, back when they still called it Spring Jam.

Tell us about your most embarrassing moment.

It was back in sophomore year, when I was driving to an unnamed fraternity’s formal at the infamous Three Bears Lodge with L’nor when I had to go to the bathroom. Luckily we were pulling into Three Bears so no problem! Except that it took us twenty minutes to find our cabin and by that time I was laughing so hard I peed my pants.

As a Senior, do you have any #regrets?

#NoRagrets

What scares you most?

Tinder dates

What are you most proud of?

Probably that I dated a cake-eater. Doesn’t get better than Edina.

Which frat are we most likely to find you in?

Back in my prime you could find me at Thursday night ice at Triangle X, but now that I’m old you can find me at BIJI (the one behind Fiji) having a few brewskis with the dudeskis as Hunter Lang would say

What’s your go-to karaoke song to sing at Blarney’s?

Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney or if I’m feeling ambitious Temperature by Sean Paul

You know you had a great weekend when ________________.

The bouncers wave you in at Library and Blarney’s

Where can we find you after graduation?

Hopefully w/ a job, but if not you can find me on the Stella’s dance floor in Uptown trying to find #him

Which celebrity do you relate to the most?

2007 Brittney Spears

What are your plans for Spring Break?

Seeing Turn Down for What by DJ Snake live in Cancun, Mexico. Probably going to be the best night of my life.

There you have it, folks. If you're #him, skip Tinder and head to Stella's dance floor for a chance at Amy's heart. As always, be sure to use this link to nominate those who are looking for #him, #her or #either.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
