Bachelor Vs Bachelorette: Similarities And Differences Of The Best Show On TV

Since watching Ben and the drama of seeing 28 girls fight for a relationship with him, The Bachelor has become one of my favorite primetime shows of all time. I don't know why, but I only started watching the Bachelor last season when the perfect Ben was desperately trying to find love on TV. If you live under a rock and never watched the show, The Bachelor is a television show where one season a bachelor goes on the show and dates a whole bunch of women at once and proposes to one at the finale. The next season, one of the girls who didn't get the ring gets another chance at finding love, and they become the Bachelorette. And so on, and so forth, to the point where I honestly don't even see an end in sight for this series.

After Ben told JoJo she had absolutely nothing to worry about and that he would never blindside her, he proposed to Lauren B. Now JoJo has her pick of 28 men and will hopefully find a husband by the end of the show.

You would be surprised at how similar the two shows are even though the groups vary each season from guys to girls. Either way, both shows have the most entertaining drama you will ever watch. This drama is usually the result of one or two contestants that have a few screws loose. In Ben’s season of the Bachelor, Olivia (the one with the mouth) was the one girl America loved to hate. She was just too crazy to go into detail about. This season, JoJo is facing a really cocky guy named Chad, who calls her “naggy” and refuses to “kiss up to her” like the other men do. The other people in the running to marry the Bachelor or Bachelorette really get annoyed by these types of people, but the talking behind their backs and the tears are so entertaining to watch.

There are also some differences I have been noticing between the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. The girls in the Bachelor are insecure, while the guys on the Bachelorette think they are better than everyone else. I see that the girls get worried when they think Ben favors one of the women. The men don't really seem to have issues among them, except Chad. No one likes guys who are obsessed with protein shakes. Also, I’ve noticed that in last season of the Bachelor the girls were really quick to ask Ben for personal time. It seemed like every two minutes you heard one of the women say to him, “Can I steal you for a sec?” This season JoJo isn't being fought over for attention as much as Ben was. Still, both shows are super entertaining. The Bachelor and the Bachelorette gives us something to look forward to every Monday.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
