We all have those moments when we get really overwhelmed and just need something to brighten our days and make us smile. From school to work and all the things in between, there's a lot of things that can make us feel down and stressed out. More often then not we have a hard time finding things that can cheer us up. But what better way to make us happy then cute animals!

Otters

They're cute, they're cuddly, and they just put a smile on your face. You can easily sit and watch otters for hours whether they're sitting, holding hands (as demonstrated above) or swimming around.

Elephants

These gentle giants just radiate happiness. And they supposedly even bring good luck. I don't know about you but I want a baby elephant for a pet! Just look at that adorable, tiny trunk... need I say more?

Piglets

Who knew piglets could have spots and be fluffy? They're just begging you to pick them up and cuddle them.

Pandas

That face. Those markings. You're heart is melting as you're looking at it. Don't even deny it!

Ducklings

There is something about a little duckling that immediately elicits an "aw" from your mouth. If you don't believe me just watch the gif above. You're sure to.

Giraffes

Not only are giraffes such unique animals, but they also are some of the most beautiful, especially the babies. Their short legs and playful nature make them a necessity for this list!

Turtles

These little guys are so resilient and tough. Just look at this one swimming through the water! They also immediately make you think of Crush and Squirt from Finding Nemo.

Seals

These fluff balls literally look like a snowball! Those eyes look into your soul and make you want to cuddle with them.

Goats

There is something very special about a baby goat the pulls right on your heart strings. Look at those jumps! This little guy is loving life, just like you will be after looking at this goat!

Lions

Who can't feel happy with a baby lion. I mean it's basically Simba. Everyone needs to have holding a baby lion on their bucket list because we all know that baby lions = "Hakuna Matata."

Kittens

Very few things can melt your heart more than a kitten. Their adorable faces and tiny hands are too cute! And their littles tongues... I can't go on enough.

Puppies

I saved the best for last! Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me more happy than puppies. Their upbeat attitudes and playfulness force you to smile. If a puppy doesn't make you happy do you even have a heart?

Next time you're feeling down in the dumps just remember how many adorable animals there are to make you happy. These cuties will be sure to make you feel better in no time!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
