I'm pretty sure that we all agree that Instagram can be addicting at times. What starts off as a quick study break suddenly turns into an hour-long scroll fest as you switch to the explore page once you run out of content on your main feed. Aside from meme accounts and people from high school, there are so many accounts on Instagram that you should be following. Here are are some of the best Instagram accounts that will add a little color and excitement to your feed.

1. National Geographic - @natgo

National Geographic's account is filled with exceptional and inspiring photos from around the world. You can explore different cultures, learn about events around the world and enjoy beautiful pictures of animals in their natural habitats.

2. Jen Winston - @girlpowersupply

If you are looking for an awesome feminist Instagram account, Girl Power Supply is the best. From politics and women's rights to diversity and supporting people of color, Girl Power Supply is the feminist account you wish you ran.

3. Edgar Artis - @edgar_artis

Edgar Artis' artwork will blow you away. Personally, I'm always excited to see what he's working with next. Whether it be food, flowers or stationary this Instagram account will add art (and class) to your feed

4. Best Food Tampa - @bestfoodtampa

One of the worst parts of following food accounts is that you can never actually go to the restaurants because they are so far away. The best part of this account is that it's local. If you see something you like all you have to do is drive for 30 minutes. Plus, the food pictures are fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

5. Tasty - @buzzfeedtasty

If you haven't followed Tasty yet, what are you doing? You never know what new recipes you'll find. Plus, watching their videos are addicting.

6. Holly Fox - @hol_fox

Holly's Instagram posts are so pretty, they'll add a great pop of color to your Instagram feed. Her cookie decorating skills are amazing and will make you want to take up cookie deciding classes.
